Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Document plans within project briefs to coordinate teams and align client expectations.
- Assign project tasks and monitor progress to achieve objectives on time and within budget.
- Manage client expectations with frequent communications. Holding clients accountable for feedback, approvals, and scope creep.
- Conduct QA checks prior to delivery of deliverables to clients; and enforce work product quality.
- Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders regularly.
Client Retention: Promote client satisfaction and retention through proactive identification and early detection of potential service issues.
- Oversee traffic light reports and ensure timely turnaround on deliverables.
- Audit critical touchpoints (such as client handoffs) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Monitor client performance and assist with proactive identification of service risks and red flags to guide service recovery strategies and prevent customer satisfaction issues.
- Recommend process improvements to prevent future service failures.
Client Upsells: Deepen client relationships by identifying opportunities for cross-sales and increase customer lifetime value (CLTV), contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
- Analyze client results to identify opportunities and recommend marketing strategies to achieve client goals.
- Work with the Growth Team to develop pricing proposals and present recommendations to clients.
- Coordinate with the Growth Team on contract addendums and oversee workflow and reboarding.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish KPIs for client onboarding, service recovery, and project management.
- Analyze data regularly to improve processes and client outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the executive team.
Success Measures:
- The success of the Client Engagement & Special Projects Manager will be measured through the following key performance indicators:
- Client Churn Rate: Decreased churn rate indicates improved client retention and satisfaction.
- Average Lifespan of Clients: Increased average lifespan signifies stronger client relationships and loyalty to our services.
- Revenue: Increase in average monthly revenue per client
Additional Objectives & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certifications in Marketing, Communication, Project Management, or other related disciplines
- Previous experience in a marketing agency or department is required
- Familiar with the business applications of digital marketing: social media marketing, email marketing, copywriting, web design, search engine optimization, programmatic ads, etc
- Experience with project management, marketing strategy development, and client management is required
- Basic HTML and video production skills are preferred
- Tangible and successful mid-level management/leadership experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office, Google Suite, Zapier, Basecamp and other Project Management Solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Communicate with the team daily to set direction and maintain awareness of updates, as well as effectively communicate client needs, pivots to strategy, and one-on-one follow-ups
- Interested in social issues: equal access to learning resources and generally socially conscious individual
- Interest in diverse client management and the outstanding ability to mono-task in a multitasking environment
- Ability to coach and deliver feedback successfully
- Measure and optimize campaigns based on analytics at high-level, identifying areas for improvement
- Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions
- Organized with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
