Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that spaces are safe and well-kept.
Physical Requirements:
This position demands good physical and mental health. The housekeeper will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push and work a flexible schedule, must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clean security, valet stations and front entrance area.
- Check and clean office in the morning and evening.
- Check and clean women and men’s spas’ and restroom areas.
- Check and clean party rooms, exercise rooms, library rooms and cabanas.
- Dust mop and mop lobby floors daily with neutral cleaner.
- Check and clean all windows in lobby, exit and entrance doors and restaurant as needed.
- Pick up supplies every Friday from maintenance shop.
- All personnel in this department as with other departments will be professional, respectful and courteous with residents, guests and fellow staff members.
- Clean and vacuum all carpets such as hall exit runners, area rugs and carpets in any common area rooms.
- Check and clean all owners’ elevator lobbies to include all mirrors, furniture and all other objects.
- Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
- Maintain facility in a sanitary condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
- Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas. Must clean up as required.
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste and other disposable materials.
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, Etc.
- Plan work schedule for major tasks.
- Empty trash containers daily.
- Check all vacant rooms daily to keep fresh.
- Clean all air vents.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).
- Wash windows as scheduled.
- Completely strip and recoat all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.
- Follow instructions on use of germicidal solutions to clean. All procedures for solution use will be part of the housekeeper’s training.
- Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
