We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for development and manufacturing products.
The Quality Engineer will :
- Identify and resolve quality issues, report losses, and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with customers to support design development projects
- Maintain a working knowledge of the AS9100 and ISO 9000 and ISO14001 requirements.
- Be familiar with programming techniques associated with CMM’s, vision systems and articulating arms.
- Compile, write and deliver training material on quality standards and activities.
- Identify and report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions
Candidates should possess :
The ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Ability to apply mathematical fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Interpret CAD drawings and data comprehension.Ability to troubleshoot most any problems dealing with processes or production.Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to perform shop math.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to write and read English.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Technology or equivalent4 years industry experience including co-ops and internshipsThis position includes a full benefits package including paid time off, health, dental, prescription, and disability insurance, a 401K plan;
