What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Sourcing Manager position at The Adecco Group?
We are recruiting for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and supply chain strategy across multiple sites (St. Louis and Houston) and business segments, in the machined components, castings, and forgings sector. This strategic and highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO, this position offers a salary of $140-150K annually and a full benefits package.
Specially, this position will:
- Develop and Execute Supply Chain Strategy
- Lead International Sourcing Efforts
- Drive Strategic Sourcing Projects
- Improve Cash Flow and Profit Margins
Candidates should possess:
- Expertise in sourcing machined components, castings, and forgings
- 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing and/or supply chain management
- Experience in the valve, flow control, or metals industry
- Strong technical understanding — ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Proven track record in supplier contract management and negotiations.
- Comfortable with domestic and international travel as needed
