- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Support clients in their daily activities, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting dignity in all interactions.
- Engage with clients through meaningful conversation and companionship.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or home health settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and patient observation techniques.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or similar qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
