Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Adult Skills Center (TASC) provides innovative and proactive services that empower individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs to achieve their highest level of Independence and realize their greatest potential. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Administrative Coordinator - Program Specialist must communicate work effectively with other TASC Employees, Program Coordinators and/or Directors as needed and be able to work successfully with minimal to no supervision.
Primary Duties

Cover Transportation in AV and Mojave (include but are not limited to):
- Manages vehicle fleet list and assigns vehicles depending on program and client needs
- Responsible for monitoring and handing out keys to drivers in the morning and collecting them in the afternoon
- Assist in assigning gas card and gas pins to new drivers and new vehicles
- Assist with incident reporting (vehicle incidents, etc.)
- Assist with maintaining documentation and follow procedures set forth by TASC
- Responsible for taking vehicles to shop/mechanic for any vehicle related emergencies or maintenance
- Liaison between body shops and TASC

Cover AV and Mojave programs (include but are not limited to):
- Ensure supplies are fully stocked
- Ensure offices are clean and maintained hazard free
- Run errands for AV and Mojave programs as needed

Other Duties
- Cover a community-based client group as needed
- Assist in dispersing any materials needed for clients
- Responsible for making program purchases such as gift cards, work materials, leisure activity items and other items as necessary
- Responsible for coordinating and dispersing PPE requests made by staff
- Responsible for coordinating with volunteer sites as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform other off-site duties as assigned
- Participate in weekly meetings, trainings, etc. as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Related experience in transportation services is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong computer skills, including demonstrated success with Microsoft Office Suite; strong skills and comfort with internet applications and social networking sites
- Ability to establish and develop effective relationships with staff, employers, volunteers, community groups, current and potential donors, corporate sponsors, agency partners and other key stakeholders
- Desire to compassionately align with the client, while supporting a culture of creating self-reliance and sustainability
- Must be able to successfully complete First Aid/CPR
- Maintain all certifications up to date
- Must have current California Driver’s license/Insurance and clean DMV.
- Must receive criminal record clearance through the DOJ.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to drive for work, maintain valid driver's license and up-to-date car insurance
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Keyboard data entry required.
The employee must provide physical assistance and/or push clients up to 250lbs in a wheelchair. Must be able to assist adult clients transitioning in and out of vehicle and in the restroom.
Completion of Professional Crisis Management Certification within 90 days of hire (provided by TASC) is required for this position and is not recommended for:
1) Individuals who have mobility and/or range of motion problems
2) Individuals with recent fractures or surgeries
3) Individuals who have suffered any kind of joint injury requiring medical attention in the past 6 months
4) Individuals with poor balance, flexibility, or agility
