About the Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute (LI) provides comprehensive political education programs to teach conservatives how to win elections for public office, create and grow conservative non-profit organizations, and build a successful career in the public service sector, including government and news-gathering organizations.
Position Overview
The Leadership Institute is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and mission-driven Program Coordinator to support the Advanced School of Politics, a premier division responsible for organizing high-level political training programs at LI’s headquarters. This division serves conservative candidates, campaign managers, communications directors, nonprofit executives, development directors, and other influential leaders.
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in executing dynamic, multi-day political education programs while advancing the Institute’s mission to increase the number and effectiveness of conservative leaders.
Position Overview
· Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing strategy to recruit top-tier participants.
· Collaborate with internal teams to design promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
· Manage the division’s social media presence, including creating engaging content and building brand awareness and credibility.
· Design and maintain professional, informative event webpages.
· Build and sustain relationships with external conservative organizations to drive qualified program referrals.
· Plan and execute turnkey multi-day in-person and online training programs, ensuring excellence in execution.
· Recruit and coordinate high-caliber faculty for training events.
· Partner with LI’s Studios and Events teams to secure venues and manage logistics.
· Maintain timely communication with participants and faculty before, during, and after events.
· Support division team members with recruitment and program operations.
· Support the director in meeting division goals.
Qualifications
· Strong commitment to conservative principles and governing philosophy.
· In-depth understanding of political campaigns.
· Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Professional demeanor and strong relationship-building skills.
· Experience in event planning and program coordination.
· Preferred Skills and Tools:
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro)
· Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Constant Contact
· Experience with Canva or similar design platforms
· Knowledge of digital advertising and social platforms: Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
· Website building tools
· Preferred Experience:
· Background in political campaign work or conservative grassroots organizing
The Program Coordinator reports to the Director of the Advanced School of Politics and works collaboratively with the division’s team members and Leadership Institute staff.
Salary is $50-60 K.

The Advanced School of Politics offers six expansive, multi-day courses, each led by experienced professionals in their respective fields:
1. Campaign Leadership College (CLC): This nine-day program with 75 hours of coursework is LI's most ambitious educational endeavor to date, aiming to develop campaign managers capable of steering high-stakes political campaigns.
2. Candidate Development School (CDS): The esteemed CDS is a three-day intensive course designed for current and prospective political candidates. Its goal is to provide a solid foundation for a successful electoral campaign and public service career.
3. Candidate Management School (CMS): Modeled after the CLC but with a more focused and shorter duration, the four-day CMS is tailored for campaign managers dedicated to securing electoral victories.
4. Campaign Finance School (CFS): Over four days, the CFS focuses on equipping participants with the skills needed to obtain significant financial support essential for winning campaigns.
5. Comprehensive Fundraising Training (CFT): Designed for professionals in the nonprofit sector, this four-day course aims to enhance fundraising capabilities for conservative NGOs and nonprofits.
6. Conservative Organization Entrepreneur (COE): This four-day course instructs participants on the legal intricacies of establishing an organization, devising a financial plan, fundraising for startup operations, and strategizing for long-term organizational sustainability.
