General Labor

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Vary 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift

Pay: $14.19/hr

GENERAL LABOR Job Duties

• Performs general clean-up work, (includes restrooms)
• Sweeps plastic press rooms and machine shop areas utilizing 24” broom or 12” scraper
• Removes and dumps trash and scrap to appropriate receptacle containers
• Cleans debris from presses and around presses
• Removes oil from catch pans and trays.
• Performs light maintenance work.
• Loads and unloads material for jobs
• Transports finished products to assigned locations
• Operates pallet jacks and other various shop equipment
• Mows grass and other landscaping work.
• Perform other duties as requested.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have good vision, correctable w/glasses,
• Must be able to stand in one place for several hours, have quick hand movements.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs at least 5% of the time. Most individual parts weigh > than 10 lbs. each.
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on rare occasion
• Must be able to pull skids of ware on wheels up to 2000 lbs.
• Must be able to push a 2 wheeled cart with a loaded 55 gal. drum.
• Must be able to work in a hot environment.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must have valid transportation.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 8 plus hour a day
• Must be able to operate equipment
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
• High School diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Must be proficient in basic math
• Must be able to read and write.
