The Alaska Club is currently hiring Lifeguards. No previous work experience required! We are a state-wide network of fitness clubs offering state-of-the-art facilities for all things fitness.
The role of Lifeguard is a fun and dynamic position that offers a great team environment and flexible work schedule. Our Lifeguards ensure pool safety in the water and on the pool deck by providing direction and assistance in a variety of situations. Join our team and help develop your leadership skills while providing life-saving skills to our community.
This is a great opportunity for students or parents seeking part-time work. Potential opportunity for additional hours as a Swim Instructor.

Requirements:
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke
- Red Cross Certification (provided by The Alaska Club)
- Weekend availability (preferred)
Working Conditions:
- Supervising patrons in pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics
- Supporting fellow Lifeguards and cooperating as a team
- Standing and moving on deck and in pool
