What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable in Construction position at The Alpha Group?
A nationally recognized company has a permanent opportunity for a full-time Accounts Receivable in Construction Position.
Responsibilities of Accounts Receivable in Construction:
-Maintain billing records and documentation ensuring documents are accurate and up-to-date
-Prepare monthly Costing, AIA Billing, and other related reports
-Post and record incoming deposits
-Monitor accounts receivable ageing
-Reach out to contractors in regards to payments due
-Perform reconciliations of any billing discrepancies, resolving any issues that arose
-Set-up new job orders and record any changes to orders
-Obtain and maintain all Certificates of Insurance with General Contractors
-Assist in some Human Resource tasks as assigned
Requirements of Accounts Receivable in Construction:
-Must have previous experience in billing with a construction company
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
-Good multi-tasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks
-Able to work independently
-Great attention to detail and organizational skills
-Excellent communication skills
Expected hours: 30-35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $26.00-$29.00/hr
