What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server-PN position at The Altland House Hospitality Group?
We are currently seeking enthusiastic servers to join us for our 2025 season at Founder's Grille located on Penn National Golf Course.
Season runs from March through November.
Compensation includes base pay & tips.
Base compensation varies between shifts.
Open daily, for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
Weekends & holidays required.
Open availability preferred.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Promptly present restaurant & bar menus.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age as to comply with PLCE law.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Accurate cash handling.
- Must be 18
- Must be able to lift & carry up to 40 lbs.
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/server.
- Experience with POS computer systems.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep restaurant organized, stocked and clean.
- Relevant training certificate or willingness to obtain. (RAMP certificate required)
- Bar experience.
Dress Code:
All shirts and pants must be pressed and cleaned with no visible defects. The employee must practice good hygiene and their hair must be off of their shoulders and out of their face at all times. Tattoos may not be visible and excessive jewelry is not permitted.
Black non-slip shoes are required.
