WHO YOU ARE
The Vice President Sales, The Home Depot, is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the Home Depot account. This role demands a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the retail industry, and the ability to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at Home Depot.

Our office is located either at our headquarters in Lake Nona - Orlando, FL or in our Sales Office in Smyrna, GA
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the Home Depot account.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive growth and competitive advantage.
- Opportunity Identification: works with the account managers to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing and potential national accounts.
Account Management
- Creates trusting/strong relationships with key decision-makers and deeply understands customer strategic interests, priorities, and growth opportunities across all customer departments.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction through regular communication and performance reviews.
- Produces sales/business reports and internal summary reports, and reports on sales, retention, revenue, and forecasting.
- Takes team leadership in preparing, planning, and developing key sales presentations, including product line reviews and quarterly promo submissions.
- Leads and directs collaboration of cross-functional teams regarding customer objectives, strategy formulation, presentation framework, negotiations, and execution.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team dedicated to the Home Depot account.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Responsible for the performance and professional development of team members. Facilitate the achievement of individual/team growth objectives.
Financial Management
- Monitor and manage the P&L for the Home Depot account, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular financial and sales reports to senior leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on retail accounts, preferably Home Depot.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and financial management
