The ANDERSEN Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Process Improvement Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing our current business processes by role and by center, making recommendations to refine and simplify them globally. This role is crucial in helping us achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in our operations by leveraging AI and Copilot to automate certain tasks and documenting the agreed-upon end-to-end engagement processes by role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing business processes across various departments.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to streamline and simplify processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand their workflows and gather insights.
  • Develop and present detailed reports outlining findings and suggested improvements.
  • Utilize AI to automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Document the agreed-upon end-to-end engagement processes by role, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.
  • Establish a rhythm of business (ROB) to keep all documentation up-to-date and reflecting any changes in processes or roles.
  • Assist in the implementation of recommended changes and monitor their impact.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new processes, best practices, and the use of AI tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a business process consultant or in a similar role.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools.
  • Experience with AI tools and automation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a business program management role.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of our industry and business operations.

Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team: Supporting customer engagement by managing the executive briefing center and various centers specifically built for facilitating meetings with executives and various customers from all kinds of teams.
  • Key Projects: Documenting and improving current business processes, mapping out engagements with the executive briefing center, identifying efficiencies, and potentially automating some processes.
  • Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: Initial weeks focus on understanding the organization and observing. Then, identifying frameworks and documentation, interviewing team members, and making recommendations. Weekly touchpoints with the sponsor, monthly status updates with leadership. Ongoing work includes optimizing and improving current processes, updating documentation, and maintaining a cadence for reviewing documentation every six months.

  • Years of Experience Required: 5 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or Certifications Required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role, but a preference for a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.


Ideal candidates have previous experience creating documentation for various roles, especially how those roles interact.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with process documentation, creating playbooks for multiple roles and how they intersect.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in large organizations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AI and automating processes.


Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have previous frameworks and timelines from previous roles ready to share to demonstrate their documentation, organizational skills, and consistency.


Salary : $8,500 - $9,000
