Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing general support for the overall Company credit function in accordance with the Company’s Credit Policy. This position analyzes credit applications, financial statements, and exposure reports; approves and establishes credit limits; assists with customer credit-related issues; and prepares various analytical reports.

Job Description
Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing general support for the overall Company credit function in accordance with the Company’s Credit Policy. This position analyzes credit applications, financial statements, and exposure reports; approves and establishes credit limits; assists with customer credit-related issues; and prepares various analytical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales and origination functions by reviewing credit applications, financial statements, and other data on new and existing counterparties to determine credit-worthiness
- Communicate with internal departments and external counterparties to resolve customer credit-related issues including situations where a counterparty is over the established credit limit, past due, or placed for collection
- Monitor and analyze exposures and trends and conduct market and sector research to predict potential credit issues
- Maintain systems, documentation and reporting to adhere to the Company Credit Policy
- Lead and coordinate the administrative activities for assigned programs. Ensure service and process standards are met
- Performs routine, entry-level assignments
- Knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts gained through education and/or experience
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction
- Participates in internal/external course work to increase knowledge base
- Grows in knowledge base to support additional levels of authority
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in work experience required
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- In office time required, some travel may be required
