Veterinary Technician
The Animal Hospital of Smithson Valley is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Spring Branch, TX, just outside of San Antonio! We're growing our team to support the addition of a new doctor, and would love to hear from you!
At Smithson Valley, we are dedicated to providing top-notch care for our furry, and not so furry friends. Our state-of-the-art facility offers innovative diagnostics and equipment including ultrasound, laparoscope, endoscope, digital radiographs and more, allowing opportunities to enhance your medical knowledge and further develop your skills as a veterinary professional. In addition to general treatments and procedures, we offer acupuncture and laser therapy, providing a full range of high-quality care for the pets in our community.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians in providing medical treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
- Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and patient areas
- Continually advance your knowledge base and skill set
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work well in a team and handle stressful situations in a calm manner
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment
