The Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our kennel staff, you will provide daily care for our boarded animals and assist with kennel maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily care for boarded animals, including feeding, exercising, and monitoring behavior
- Bathing, grooming, and administering medication as needed
- Assisting with kennel maintenance and cleaning, including washing and folding laundry
- Reporting changes in animal behavior, health, or concerns to the clinical team
- Maintaining accurate records of animal care, including weight, physical condition, treatments received, and food intake
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and work experience
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more and stand on feet for long periods
