The Applied Companies is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a leading medical device client, specializing in cutting-edge endoscopes and light optics. In this Temp-to-Hire role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is consistent, detail oriented, and understands logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipment packages from delivery carriers
- Ensure outbound shipments are successfully picked up and all inventory is properly tracked
- Print various required documents and label each outgoing shipment (dozens each week)
- Coordinate with freight carriers to troubleshoot pickups and deliveries
- Share shipping documentation timely with other teams (QA and accounting) to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate effectively with other teams and escalate issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Attention to detail, organized, and consistent
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics process
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with warehousing and inventory operations
