Medication Technician - Assisted Living

The Arbors Assisted Living is seeking highly motivated, professional and compassionate individuals to join our team in the capacity of Medication Technician. The individuals must have a heart and compassion for seniors.

Duties

• Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications and report findings to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Provide compassionate support and care to residents, fostering a positive environment conducive to their well-being.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in medication management and resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Certification as a Medication Technician by Arcadia Management, Inc.
• First Aid Certification (will train)
• Ability to read, write and speak English
