Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and groundskeeping, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. This role is essential for ensuring that our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Supervise daily landscaping operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee landscape maintenance employees at various work sites
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
- Manage the scheduling of work assignments and allocate resources appropriately.
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping tasks, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma plus (1) year full-time experience in a work setting training others or (1) yr full-time experience in the janitorial field
- Valid NYS Driver’s License & approved driving record
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- A passion for gardening and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
