Your day to day as a Therapeutic Coach

As an In-Home Therapeutic Coach at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler- START / CSIDD, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic interventions to individuals in alignment with their START / CSIDD Plan. Your expertise will not only directly impact the individual's progress but also support primary care providers in effectively implementing these interventions. Your dedication to implementing personalized therapeutic strategies will contribute significantly to the overall well-being and development of those we serve. Requirements for this Therapeutic Coach job

To excel as an In-Home Therapeutic Coach at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler-START / CSIDD- candidates must possess exceptional reading and writing skills to proficiently fulfill START / CSIDD documentation requirements. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for accurately documenting interventions and progress. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable with traveling, as the role requires being on-site at various locations up to 75% of the time.

The capability to adapt to different environments and maintain a high level of organization while providing therapeutic support is crucial for success in this dynamic and rewarding position.

Minimum Qualifications :

High School Diploma, 7 years' experience working with individuals with I / DD and behavioral

health needs.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other Human Service-related field, and a

minimum of 2 years' experience working with individual with I / DD and behavioral health needs,

or, Associate's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other Human Services field, and 4 years'

experience working with individuals with I / DD and behavioral health needs.
