Position: Controller

Salary: $73,216. yrly

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8a-4:30p, with flexibility

Location: Walton, New York

Responsibilities: The Controller will assist the Chief Financial Officer in setting the organization up for success in financial management and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide internal and external financial reports
• Knowledge of New York non-profit applicable laws, and regulations
• Ability to respond well under pressure
• Prepare and execute business and financial related policies and procedures
• Ensure quarterly and yearly audits are completed timely
• Provide financial reports for the agency’s board
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Prepare, and execute related policies and procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Valid NY Driver’s License
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Great Plains software experience preferred
