Support Independent Living Team Leader / Floater

SIL TEAM LEADER Job Description

The ideal candidate is a person who has worked as a DSP and is open to working in the Supported Independent program with clients who are living independently or sharing a home with another person with developmental and intellectual delays, physical disabilities and/or special needs.

This position is a supervisor position, and you will handle managing a caseload. The caseload will include people receiving support in the community and in their home.

The Most Eligible Candidate Must Have The Following

• Must have GED/HS DIPLOMA
• Must have a clean background
• Must pass a drug screening
• Must have and keep clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Must have writing skills
• Must be able to use Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc)
• Must be able to work with others
• Must have at least 3 years as a DSP/CNA. (Flexible)
• Must be able to create work schedules for homes that may have 24-hour care
• Must be able to work 2-10/ Overnight shifts , Must be willing to cover openings in assigned homes and/or program as asked
  
  

This is a full-time position, 40 hour position. Staff will have to complete onsite 16-hour training and supervisory training onsite with immediate supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

Experience

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
