Summary

As a Support Staff member at Robyn's Nest Learning Center, you will play a vital role in assisting educators and providing care for our students. This position is essential in ensuring a positive learning atmosphere that promotes growth and development for all children.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide support during physical education activities to promote active play.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Engage with students to encourage participation and foster a love of learning.
• Support early intervention strategies for children who may need additional assistance.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Contribute to the overall development of children through nurturing care and guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably with young children.
• Knowledge of early intervention techniques and childhood development principles.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to educate and engage students in various subjects including physical education and math.
• Experience in toddler care is highly desirable.

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
