The Arc of Lincoln Program Coordinator Position Description
The Arc of Lincoln serves people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc of Lincoln programs in the following areas: vacations, inclusive recreation, social skill building, self-advocacy, sibling support, and more. The Program Coordinator will work with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director in the planning execution of these programs. Responsibilities include:
- Create and organize programs and activities that include but not limited to; Friendly Faces, Come Together Adult Social Group, Classes/Trainings, Parent Networking group, Special Events, and The Arc Expeditions, etc.
- Dispersing information using bulk mail, email and social media about upcoming events
- Maintenance of physical and electronic contact and vacationer and membership databases
- Plan, organize and execute materials for Arc Expeditions before each trip
- Assist Executive Director and Grant Committee with collection of data necessary for grant reports and requests.
- Plan, Organize and Execute special events e.g. Making reservations, organizing, marketing, attending, etc.
- Creation of promotional materials for events
In addition to assisting with programming, the Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with activities such as fundraisers, board meetings, community meetings, and community outreach.
