Pay: $77,000-$80,000
Status: Exempt, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed

This role is focused on cultivating relationships with San Diego businesses, while seeking sponsorships and charitable gifts to benefit our organization while advocating for disability inclusion in the workplace.

A Typical Day Will Include:

• Building Strategic Partnerships: Cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors, donors, and employment partners to support The Arc of San Diego’s mission.
• Developing Sponsorships & Fundraising Initiatives: Crafting customized sponsorship packages and securing financial contributions to benefit our programs.
• Engaging with the Business Community: Attending networking events, presenting on disability inclusion, and advocating for workforce opportunities for clients of The Arc of San Diego.
• Coordinating Corporate Volunteer Programs: Organizing impactful projects that connect businesses with our programs and individuals.
• Tracking and Analyzing Data: Monitoring donor engagement and partnership effectiveness to drive fundraising success.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or disability services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in corporate relations or sponsorship development.
• A passion for advocacy and inclusion, particularly in employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Success is measured by corporate partnerships, donations secured, executed volunteer projects, and increased employment opportunities./

We’d Love It If You:

• Have experience in nonprofit fundraising and knowledge of corporate social responsibility initiatives and disability services.
• Are passionate about fostering business partnerships to increase corporate support through strategic alliances, charitable contributions, volunteer initiatives, and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
