ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Quality and Compliance Specialist ensures the delivery of high-quality services in line with state and federal regulations within the Residential Supports department. They work closely with leadership and staff to monitor and implement recommendations from state reviews, investigations, and compliance concerns. The specialist helps develop tools for monitoring processes, drafts compliance and quality improvement reports, and conducts safety inspections and audits. They also assist in the creation of corrective action plans and ensure staff completes required training.
In addition to their compliance responsibilities, the specialist maintains communication with team members to foster a positive service environment and may participate in agency-wide committees. They are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and proper documentation in line with agency standards. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively monitor and support compliance efforts across the department.
Schedule/Hours
- Full Time: 40 Hrs
- Must be able to work flexible schedules to include some Evening/Overnight/Weekend availability
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience, which, in the judgment of the employer, equals the below standards:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Minimum of three years' experience working in the human services field
- Must be willing and able to have medication certification and maintain certification.
- Valid NYS Drivers License
PAY & PERKS:
- Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr Mileage Reimbursement
