Direct Support Professional - Residential
Salary : $18.00 - $19.17 (per diem / substitute $17.00)
Position Overview : A Direct Support Professional provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities or other challenges, focusing on enhancing their self-sufficiency, independence, and community integration. Responsibilities include offering hands-on assistance in daily living skills, implementing health and behavior support plans, facilitating community activities, and documenting progress. The role involves planning recreational and vocational opportunities, assisting with personal care and household tasks, providing transportation, and ensuring a safe, positive environment. Additional duties may include participating in team meetings, developing care plans, maintaining facility upkeep, and adhering to privacy regulations. The position also requires ongoing learning and communication with supervisors and other team members to ensure high-quality support.
Work Location : Canandaigua, NY
Schedule : Hiring for all hours; weekends; weekdays; day shift; night shift!!
Differential : $1.00 pay differential for night shift; $1.00 pay differential weekend shifts!
