Primary Functions: Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Residential Director will supervise, coordinate, and monitor the operations of the 6 Behavior Group Homes. This individual will be responsible for insuring that all programmatic issues are in accordance with APD and APD standards.
Hours of Work: Flexible 40 hour work week. Must be flexible to take care of all issues related to the position, and be on call.
ESSENTIAL Duties: As per ARC policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and at least two years of experience with developmentally disabled adults.

ESSENTIAL Duties: As per ARC policies and procedures.
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to the Assistant Residential
- Assist the Associate Executive Director in assuring compliance with
- Visit assigned program areas at least twice per month. Insure that all programmatic issues are being addressed. Results of visits are to be brought to the attention of the Associate Executive Director.
- Interview and hire prospective staff. Reviewing staff performance and training compliance on a regular basis.
- Supervise the data collection and implementation of consumer programming.
- Insure the delivery of case management services to all assigned consumers.
- Assure that all needed medical and adjunctive services are provided.
- Counsel consumers and provide crisis management intervention when necessary and as directed by the Associate Executive Director.
- Assure that staffing is sufficient in applicable homes.
- Be available for on-call emergency situations, and handle same in accordance with specified policies and procedures.
- Attend necessary committee meetings and trainings as assigned by the Associate Executive Director.
- Monitor compliance in all service areas via mock surveys utilizing all applicable APD standards.
- Provide and ensure that Emergency On-call procedures are followed.
- Maintain liaison with referring counselors and agencies.
- Ensure that all adaptive and related services and equipment are secured.
- Provide staff training on individual behavior needs.
- Ensure that the least restrictive, most normalized procedures are utilized based on the assessed needs of the consumer.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
