We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. You will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing behavioral plans to support individuals with behavioral challenges.

- Base Pay: $65k-75k (dependent on experience and licensing)

Key Responsibilities:
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce concerning behaviors.
- Design, monitor, and modify written behavior intervention procedures and skill acquisition procedures as related to behavioral intervention.
- Conduct initial and on-going assessments, and based on these assessments, design and maintain top quality treatment programs.
- Administer, conduct, evaluate, and supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures.
- Develop individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center based programs and design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
- Ensure appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives .
Employment Options:
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week.
Education and Experience:
- One year of experience in behavioral program design, Applied Behavioral Analysis certification (IABA/ABA) from an accredited program, and a Bachelor Degree in a related field.
- Preferred qualifications: Graduate level degree and certification in behavior analysis from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field is preferred.
Certificates or Licenses:
- Preferred BCBA or IABA/ABA Certification from an accredited program
- Possession of valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Proof of auto liability insurance in accordance with Montana law, and insurability with The Arc Western Montana insurer of record.
