Our company is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Staff Development Specialist to join our team. As a Staff Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, conducting, and maintaining staff training curricula, including new hire orientation, management training, renewed trainings, and elective trainings. You will work closely with the HR team and department managers to identify training needs and develop effective training programs that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Competitive Pay:
· Salary: $55k-$60k (dependent on experience)
· Sign-On Bonus: $3000

Key Responsibilities:
· Develops training curricula for new hire orientation including orientation to The Arc Western Montana policies and procedures, health and safety, CPR and First Aid, and Mandt System.
· In coordination with the Chief Human Resources Officer or other members of The Arc Western Montana management team develops a training curriculum for front-line management and disability-specific training.
· Maintains an electronic database of all training programs for all employees.
· Notifies managers about staff who are due for initial or routine trainings or staff who are delinquent in maintaining mandatory trainings.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Four- year college degree preferably in education, learning, and development.
· Prefer two years of adult teaching or training experience.
· Knowledge of building a curriculum and implementing such training.
· Advanced knowledge of adult learning theory and flexibility to teach in a variety of settings and using a variety of methods.
Certificates or Licenses:
· Mandt Instructor Certification within 60 days of employment.
· CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification within 60 days of employment.
