What You’ll Do
Delivers friendly customer service, aids in deliveries, and sets up furniture and equipment. Serves as a first responder in emergencies, provides basic inspections, and assists with preventive maintenance duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $18.33 - $21.56
Responsibilities
Work Orders
- Performs specified duties provided in work orders.
- Assists residents with in-house moves and carrying items from their cars to apartments.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Sets up and breaks down for functions/special events.
Radio 1
- Performs first responder duties when situations arise.
- Primary responder for all radio calls
- Delivers messages, mail, parcels, packages, and medication.
- Performs routine checklist of boiler / chiller and pumps.
- Locks offices after hours.
- Performs nightly resident apartment door tag placement.
- Escorts staff to vehicles after dark as needed.
- Relieves Security Officer and Receptionist during breaks.
Preventive Maintenance
- Performs monthly inspections at various locations as assigned and prepares corresponding inspection reports.
- Replaces air conditioner filters and light bulbs.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area
- Recycling
- Assists with collecting recyclable items into designated bins and delivers to designated facilities.
Safety and Compliance
- Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Manual.
- Ensures department compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Use of computers; ability to attain working knowledge of on-line maintenance work order system.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
