Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Parts Sales Manager to lead our parts sales team and drive revenue growth. This role is centered around expanding sales to existing customers, improving retention, and increasing share of wallet. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team leadership, developing strategic sales plans, and cultivating long-term customer relationships. The Senior Parts Sales Manager will also oversee optimizing sales processes such as quote turnaround, order time, and win rates, all while ensuring the team achieves profitability and pricing efficiency, including improvements in GP% over previous years.

- Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000 annually, plus bonus and commission plans
- Work Location: Preferred locations in order are Mandeville or Harahan, LA, followed by Kent, WA (Seattle), and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of parts sales representatives to meet or exceed sales targets. Provide coaching, training, and support to improve individual and team performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and foster growth year over year.
- Acquire new customers through targeted strategies, with a focus on high-priority sectors. Set specific sales goals driven by new customer acquisition.
- Monitor key sales metrics such as the percentage of sales from new customers, sales cycle efficiency, and market share growth. Ensure proactive steps are taken to meet sales targets and KPIs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent service to ensure long-term loyalty.
- Streamline and optimize the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) process to improve time to quote, time to order, and win rates. Work with sales operations to enhance conversion rates.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Lead efforts to expand market share and identify new business opportunities. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive positioning.
- Develop and implement training programs for the sales team to improve product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement.
- Manage pricing strategies and negotiate with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in parts sales management or a related field, with a strong track record of sales success and leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of parts sales processes, industry regulations, and customer needs, particularly in marine or power generation sectors.
- Proven leadership and motivational skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics), ERP systems (e.g., Infor Syteline), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, trade shows, or business events.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
