The Arm Group is hiring for a “Quality Engineer" for one of our clients in Springfield, MO.

Role:
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring top-tier quality performance throughout the production process. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality assurance programs, tackle root causes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the quality improvement of both products and processes, ensuring customer satisfaction with defect-free results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Quality program, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality practices.
- Lead and participate in internal and vendor audits, and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) activities.
- Oversee assigned Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), conducting thorough root cause analyses and driving short- and long-term solutions.
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Review, approve, and administer Engineering Change/Release Notices (ECNs), as well as maintain accurate document control in the archives.
- Play a key role in supporting new product development and providing defect analysis data to prioritize and resolve top issues.
- Collaborate with teams to develop defect detection criteria for assembly monitoring and ensure customer specifications are met to the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and actively identify opportunities for process improvement.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred disciplines: Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical).
- 3-5 years of experience in a quality-focused role, with a strong understanding of cGMP or ISO 9000 standards.
- Knowledge or certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or CQE is a significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Prior experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
