SUMMARY:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts. A successful accounting assistant should be familiar with all accounting procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records,
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements,
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner,
- Complete data entry of financial transactions in company software.
- Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- Utilize internal software such as Infinite/AS400, SharePoint, and NetSuite ERP.
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- General accounting experience desirable.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to navigate multiple applications and systems.
- Ability to analyze and process data and forms accurately.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time management skills.

HOURLY PAY RATE:
- $20 per hour
