As a Mechanical Design Engineer , you will drive the design and development of new products, integrating advanced mechanical and electrical technologies. You’ll collaborate on concept development, prototyping, testing, and production, supporting the design of Electrical and Mechanical products.
Job Responsibilities :
- Optimize mechanical designs to balance performance, size, weight, cost, and production timelines
- Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and documentation in SolidWorks
- Research and integrate new technologies, materials, and processes
- Design for regulatory compliance and qualification testing
- Manage BOM creation and maintenance in an ERP system
- Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for new and existing designs
- Develop manufacturing work instructions and specify tooling / assembly fixtures
- Evaluate and qualify parts and vendors
