Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our team at The Art Factory. As a Studio Instructor, you will have the opportunity to engage with children and families in a creative and inspiring environment. This position is ideal for someone studying or holding a degree in Art Education or Elementary Education, and a passion for art and working with all types of families is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Elementary Art Club classes and workshops for children and families.
- Plan, develop and implement engaging process art projects and activities.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere conducive to creativity and learning.
- Maintain weekly contact via class newsletter with families
- Assist with the organization and promotion of activities and classes.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space.
- Follow studio handbook and teaching policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with children and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable working with children of all abilities.
- Demonstrated teaching skill for art and creativity.
- Studying or holding a degree in education and/or art required.
- Willingness to undergo onboarding and training provided by the studio.
- Consistency in scheduling and reliably are crucial.
