Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Foster positive social interactions and promote good behavior through effective behavior management techniques
- Monitor and assess each child's development and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, daycare, nannying, or related field preferred - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children - First Aid/CPR certification is a plus - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment - Passion for working with children and providing a positive learning experience Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
