BASIC FUNCTIONS
In addition to daily responsibilities and duties, the HR Assistant to join our team and assist our staff in maintaining a constructive working atmosphere so that our facility may achieve its objectives.
HR Assistant is responsible for gathering employee records, employee morale, employee safety, and supervising employee training. Finally, you will collaborate with other HR Specialists to ensure that all workers have the necessary training, knowledge, and resources to be successful within the organization.
Working in a food manufacturing environment, employee must follow all established Company policies and procedures primarily, GMP guidelines. Ability to perform but not limited to the essential duties and responsibilities outlined below:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
Position also includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Disseminate information about remuneration, benefits, and human resources policies.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including talent acquisition and onboarding of new employees.
- Facilitate the training and orientation of new hires.
- Builds and maintains strong bonds between managers and employees.
- Make sure that grievances and disciplinary processes are handled according to policies.
- Takes proactive measures in employee relations and reacts to organizing action.
- Assembles and coordinates employee events & incentives.
- Establish and maintain Employee of the month program; work with management team to elect EOM monthly. Schedule acknowledgement and celebrate accomplishment amongst the team.
- Oversite of employee break areas. All areas are kept clean and properly maintained.
- Engagement in employee motivation initiatives to create a strong team morale.
- Attend monthly Safety Committee Meetings. Work with HR and Floor supervisors on proper documentation of injuries.
- Work with HR & Management to monitor employee training and facilitate annual retraining of staff.
- Schedule & facilitate periodic Safety training for all production floor employees.
- Capability to deal with people successfully and collaborate with coworkers.
- Conducts audits of associates' Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), facility sanitation, preparation procedures, and quality documentation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in food manufacturing or related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
