Job Overview:

Seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to support our Substation Operations and Maintenance (ONM) team. This role will be instrumental in managing daily coordination activities for field crews across approximately 12 districts. The position provides an exciting entry point into utility operations with room for long-term growth within a leading energy provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily field crew activities related to substation ONM, preventive maintenance, and capital project work.
• Manage work dispatch, ensure outage schedules are properly aligned, and collaborate with Ops Managers on scheduling.
• Order and track materials; submit PR (purchase requests) and monitor delivery timelines.
• Conduct daily POD meetings with field managers, manage email/text correspondence, and create call-out work orders.
• Support planning for upcoming work weeks and respond to requests from internal departments.

Typical Day Includes:

• Morning coordination call with field manager
• Handling correspondence (emails, texts)
• Creating and managing work orders
• Submitting PRs and monitoring materials
• Planning and adjusting schedules
• Addressing incoming department requests

Team & Collaboration:

• Direct collaboration with 4 Operations Managers
• Support across 12 districts
• Close working relationship with a small, tight-knit team of 4 colleagues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of operational experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED (required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience
• Familiarity with scheduling or project management tools
• Experience in utility or infrastructure industries
