Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and staff development.
Mediate staff concerns, implement performance improvement plans, and promote a supportive workplace culture.
Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring smooth onboarding and retention strategies.
Ensure organizational compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Manage employee benefits, open enrollment, and leave requests, providing clear guidance to staff.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven HR Leadership: At least 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused setting. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Strong Knowledge of Jewish Customs & Traditions: Familiarity with Jewish workplace practices, holidays, and values is essential to supporting our mission and staff.
Expertise in Compliance & Employee Relations: A solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust, mediate concerns, and provide clear guidance to employees at all levels.
