Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and staff development.
- Mediate staff concerns, implement performance improvement plans, and promote a supportive workplace culture.
- Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring smooth onboarding and retention strategies.
- Ensure organizational compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Manage employee benefits, open enrollment, and leave requests, providing clear guidance to staff.
- Proven HR Leadership: At least 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused setting. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong Knowledge of Jewish Customs & Traditions: Familiarity with Jewish workplace practices, holidays, and values is essential to supporting our mission and staff.
- Expertise in Compliance & Employee Relations: A solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust, mediate concerns, and provide clear guidance to employees at all levels.
