A Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist is sought by The ASSURANCE group to provide expert financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting services. This hands-on role will work closely with the CFO to support all operating areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel, data warehouse queries, Power BI report development, and PowerPoint. They will also possess business acumen, with a deep understanding of P&L, EBITDA, and working capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for company management.
- Develop and maintain a data warehouse for operational and financial reporting.
- Coordinate the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across multiple divisions.
- Support quarterly business reviews with cross-functional division teams.
- Design and implement operating metrics and KPIs to drive business performance.
- Analyze customer revenue and margin trends, as well as manufacturing cost trends.
- Develop ad-hoc reports and analytical projects as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or data analytics.
- Five years of experience in finance or business analyst roles.
- Advanced Excel skills, data warehouse queries, Power BI report development, and PowerPoint.
- Business acumen and understanding of P&L, EBITDA, and working capital.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
