Executive Director of Outreach
The Avi Project THE college pregnancy resource is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Colorado serving Colorado college campuses (CU, CSU, CSM, UNC, DU, CU-Denver, CCU, Regis) with the potential expansion/growth in and outside Colorado.
Our mission is to empower pregnant college students to be able to choose life and their education by providing the support and resources they need for a successful future.
Scope: The Executive Director of Outreach will oversee a team of Outreach Coordinators, develop and support Outreach Program initiatives, and conduct community engagement/awareness to support The Avi Project's strategic priorities. This position provides a hybrid schedule opportunity, working from home, office, and in the field as needed. Community engagement is a high priority focus of this job and will include public speaking and evening and weekend availability to support outreach efforts with student clubs and organizations, volunteer, and community events.
Program Team Management Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and oversee our three Outreach Areas- Campus, Community, and Client
- Conduct Outreach Program strategic development and fundraising in partnership with the Director of Donor Engagement
- Effectively manage the sorority life and athletics outreach team
Volunteer Coordination Responsibilities
- Work with volunteers to support our mission
- Recruit and engage volunteers through community engagement strategies
- Maintain and update the volunteer database in Constant Contact
- Use Asana for task management and staff collaboration
- Use Slack for prayer team management
Additional Responsibilities
- Draft and send monthly EmpowerU Circle updates using Constant Contact
- Draft and send quarterly newsletter using Constant Contact
- Draft quarterly board outreach updates
- Attend quarterly board meetings
- Attend quarterly staff meetings
- Be available to work evenings and weekends on events such as the annual fundraiser, summer volunteer gatherings, information meetings and any other organization events
- Willingness to learn new skills to increase effectiveness in performing the job
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

Schedule: TBD (part-time or full-time) hybrid work schedule
