Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and assisting Shift Leaders, Operators, and Production Assistants to ensure we meet organizational commitments regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations. Collaborates with other departments to determine, analyze, and eliminate problems within the manufacturing environment. Responsible for ensuring that company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to. Responsible for resolving member conflicts and fostering an environment in which members are engaged.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the Production Team to ensure company objectives are attained regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Assign work assignments to Team Leaders, Operators, and Production Assistants.
Ensure plant safety procedures are followed in order to promote personal safety and the safety of others.
Oversee and assist in the setup and startup of production equipment on a daily basis.
Practice strong engagement with direct reports and team members, including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems, and showing respect.
Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants and operators as needed.
Provide training to Shift Leaders, Operators, Assistant Operators, and Production Assistants as needed.
Troubleshoot machines for problems and make proper adjustments.
Ensure the proper materials and mixes are used to manufacture products according to identified specifications.
Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing according to customer specifications.
Ensure operators maintain and observe dimensional tolerances, warp, color appearance, and all identified physical quality parameters.
Monitor the quality of the products, perform daily audits, and follow posted process standards.
Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required.
Perform safety checks on all machinery in the department and report safety issues as needed.
Identify maintenance requirements and work with maintenance to repair equipment as required.
Complete all necessary production paperwork.
Develop and ensure the production schedule is followed and executed completely and on time.
Ensure housekeeping duties are performed on the plant floor.
Understand, support, and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
Work with the Management team to develop process improvement opportunities.
Perform other assignments as directed.

Required Qualifications:
5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on achieving organizational goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Strong experience in overseeing daily operations and troubleshooting production equipment.
Work Schedule:
2x2x3 rotation.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in an environment that can become hot/cold (temperature) depending on the weather.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 125 lbs. with assistance, infrequently.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 in our lowest market up to $90,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
