What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Administrator position at The Bachrach Group?
We are recruiting for a Benefits Administrator for our client, a major member services firm in New York City. This is a long-term temporary assignment where you will be processing benefits, performing document research and data reconciliation.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Performing data entry of confidential member/beneficiary information and completing input worksheets
- Reviewing eligibility for processing of events and correcting gaps in data
- Managing claims, including beneficiary information, withdrawals and service credit
- Processing refunds, buyback requests & other benefit claims
- Processing retirement claims/revisions and finalizing benefit calculations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Pension Benefit processing and Eligibility evaluation preferred
- Must have data entry and Microsoft Office skills as well as the ability to perform calculations and work on browser-based systems
- Must possess good verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
