Position Overview
The Bad Kids Production is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Post-Production Coordinator to support our post team in managing episodic content. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth workflows, on-time deliveries, and maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and well-versed in the post-production process.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the production team to address and resolve post-production needs or challenges.
- Compile and deliver program-level status updates and reports to the Post Supervisor, while facilitating regular status meetings, including agenda preparation, presentations, action item tracking, and follow-ups.
- Track and manage post-production budgets and expenditures.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal teams and external partners, manage timelines for the Post team, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Oversee post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
- Ensure all final deliverables adhere to quality standards and client specifications.
- Organize and maintain project files, assets, and databases for seamless workflow management.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Film Production, Film Editing, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on post-production coordination preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of guiding teams to meet critical deadlines and achieve high-quality results.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
- Advanced knowledge of post-production software and tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and a passion for delivering outstanding content.
- Must be able to work onsite/hybrid in Los Angeles, CA for 5 days a week
Compensation: This full time position offers an hourly rate ranging from $18 - $22
