Baer is looking for SAP Master Data Organizational Configuration Manager for a 9-month Federal project located in Kansas City, MO.

Title: SAP Master Data Organizational Configuration Manager

Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO

Description:

• Lead efforts to gather and document business process requirements for the configuration of SAP master data and organizational structures, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
• Develop detailed configuration rationales and system designs to meet business process requirements, including the configuration of organizational structures, chart of accounts, business partners, cost centers, and fund centers in SAP S/4HANA.
• Implement functional SAP solutions that support business operations, ensuring proper alignment between organizational structures and other SAP modules.
• Develop test strategies, manage complex testing efforts, and ensure that organizational structure and master data configurations meet functional requirements.
• Create associated documentation such as RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow) objects, test models, test scripts, and other relevant technical documents for solution deployment.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and configuration support for SAP organizational structures and master data, ensuring compatibility and integration with other systems and applications.
• Work closely with both technical and functional counterparts to ensure solutions meet all business and functional requirements, fostering smooth integration across SAP modules.
• Leverage experience with budgeting, staffing, and work planning to support efficient project execution and management of organizational data.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality SAP configurations that align with client goals.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA, specifically in SAP FI/CO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and master data configuration.
• Strong background in organizational structure configuration, including chart of accounts, cost centers, fund centers, and business partners in SAP.
• Proven team lead experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and guide a team of functional and technical resources.
• Strong understanding of federal finance operations and systems, with hands-on experience in implementing solutions for government agencies.
• U.S. Citizenship required for eligibility in federal projects.
• Familiarity with federal financial regulations and systems, particularly in SAP.
• Federal government experience, particularly in SAP master data and organizational structure configuration within a federal finance context.
• SAP S/4 HANA experience and a comprehensive understanding of its architecture and integration points.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate in Finance or other related certifications).
• Prior work experience in the Manufacturing (MFG) or Energy sectors.
