Baer is looking for an SAP Procurement Functional Consultant for a 6-month Federal project located in Kansas City, MO
Title: SAP Procurement Functional Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
- Maintain, enhance, and develop SAP Procurement (ECC), SRM, and related modules that interface with other applications to meet business needs.
- Lead the development and documentation of detailed business process designs (Procure-to-Pay) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Create functional solutions, including the design, build, and testing of SAP modules and associated configurations to meet business requirements.
- Facilitate sessions to gather requirements and design solutions in alignment with business needs, ensuring that technical solutions meet all functional requirements.
- Design and document RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects, test models, and scripts to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, manage complex test efforts, and ensure the successful execution of test plans for SAP solutions.
- Develop detailed configuration rationales, designs, and perform system configuration build for SAP procurement and related modules.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior consultants, providing guidance on functional and technical aspects of SAP procurement solutions.
- Involved in project budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain close interaction with clients to ensure that their requirements are met, and business process objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Procurement (ECC) and SAP SRM.
- Proven team lead experience with the ability to manage teams, mentor junior consultants, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Strong expertise in SAP Business Process Design for Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Experience in designing and configuring SAP procurement modules (Materials Management - MM, Inventory Management/Warehouse Management - IMWM).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP RICEFW objects, test planning, and execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
