Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually stunning and sophisticated content tailored to the financial and upscale industry. In this role, you will lead design initiatives and art direction with our marketing and creative teams to develop compelling visual materials that reflect the company's brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Create Visual Content: Design and oversee the creation of marketing assets—including brochures, reports, infographics, investment presentations, website visuals, social media content, and email campaigns—utilizing design software such as Adobe Illustrator to create vector-based designs.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all design work aligns with the company's brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and upscale image across all media that conveys trust, security, and professionalism while adhering to regulatory compliance.
- Concept Development: Conceptualize, lead, and innovate high-quality design solutions for corporate branding, marketing campaigns, and investor-facing materials, while staying ahead of design trends to continuously refine and modernize the company’s visual presence.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to final delivery, adhering to deadlines and priorities.
- Image Sourcing and Editing: Select, edit, and retouch stock images and photographs—ensuring proper sourcing and licensing—to enhance the overall visual impact of marketing materials using industry-standard graphic design software.
- Typography and Layout: Apply strong typography skills and create visually appealing layouts to ensure content is easily digestible and aesthetically pleasing.
- Feedback Incorporation: Be open to feedback and collaborate with colleagues to refine and enhance design work based on input and critiques.
- Direction and Developing: Lead by example, offering guidance and constructive critique to designers while fostering a dynamic and innovative design environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of design experience within an agency or large in-house creative department.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio showcasing work in the financial or upscale sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma etc.), including advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator to create vector-based designs, custom icons, and high-end graphics.
- Strong expertise of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
- Strong understanding of the financial industry and its design trends, innovations, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience collaborating and communicating with executives and senior stakeholders on high-profile design projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in creating designs for annual reports, investment presentations, financial publications, or property maps.
- Knowledge of web design and UI/UX principles.
- Animation and video editing skills are a huge plus.
