As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide high quality technical hardware, software, and network support to all bank end-users, and is part of a service desk team. This role is responsible for clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. The IT Support Specialist role requires a combination of technical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.

As an IT Support Specialist you will:
- Act as initial point of contact for internal end-user technical support requests from phone, email, ticket system, and in-person.
- Utilize IT ticketing system to document, prioritize, and track requests, as well as provide accurate and timely follow up communication to end-user on the request.
- Document configuration changes in IT ticketing system and/or IT change log.
- Identify and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices, printers, scanners, copiers and other peripherals.
- Perform installation and configuration of new computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with the installation of local area network cabling and related equipment.
- Perform general maintenance/cleaning of printing and scanning devices.
- Collaborate with IT teams and other bank departments, as well as vendors and service providers to assist with seamless IT service delivery.
- Utilize IT asset management system to accurately document all asset changes and maintain an accurate record of IT assets.
- Assist team in maintaining knowledge base by creating knowledge articles from common technical issues and solutions.
- Utilize knowledge base and procedure documentation to adhere to best practice standards established by the bank.
- Perform initial review and investigation of quarantined or suspect emails as requested by end users.
- Train or orient end-users and staff on use of bank hardware, software, and network resources.
- Assist in researching, evaluating and installing computer software and hardware.
- Perform routine review/resolution of assigned workstations and thin clients for patch status and assist with general vulnerability remediation of those devices.
Qualifications for Success:
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) from a college or university and at least one year experience (a) end-user phone support for desktop and application software or (b) installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing computers in a network environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
